Club activities in the sea

About us

Welcoming children (5+) and adults alike, club members develop fitness, skills, water safety awareness,  and  the confidence to be able to keep themselves and others safe at the coast.

Younger members - Nippers - work though a series of awards while having fun and making friends, moving on to learn the skills to become fully qualified beach and surf lifeguards at 16 if they wish.

Among the meany skills we aim to help members develop are advanced open water swimming and rescue skills, first aid skills - including advanced techniques, risk awareness and management, team work and ultimately how to save a life.
